71, of Honolulu, Hawaii, passed away on October 18, 2022 after a valiant battle with cancer, her family by her side. Born in Honolulu, she was a graduate of Roosevelt High School, the University of Hawaii and Stanford University.She adored her Kindergarden students at Aina Haina Elementary, where she taught for 33 years, and was delighted to receive letters, photos, Christmas cards and graduation announcements from her former students years after they left her classroom.
She was a devoted matriarch of the Chang and Campaniano families, and loved traveling, gardening, sewing and crafts.
She is survived by Robin, her husband of 43 years, daughter Leslie, son Jeff and grandson Parker, her brothers Daniel and Stephen (Coral Prince), and sister-in-law Wendy. Celebration of Life to be held December 15, 2022. Visitation at 5:00 pm followed by services at 6:00 pm at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Mask required.
