84, of Honolulu, Hawaii, passed away on November 10, 2022, in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was born on November 27, 1937, to Ernest and Florence Medeiros. Survived by her husband of 60 Years, Bernard; sons Allyn (Karen- deceased), Bryan (Elsie), Colyn (Lois); daughter Dyann Okamura (Todd); grand- children Austyn, Karyssa, Brycen, Justyn, Ava, Marisa and Sky.
Elizabeth was a distinguished member of the American Legion Auxiliary, holding various offices and positions including National Western Division Vice President. She had a passion for orchids and belonged to several Orchid organizations serving as an accredited judge and regional chairperson for the American Orchid Society, lifetime member of the Honolulu Orchid Society, and was recognized as the Orchidist of the Year by the Aiea Orchid Club.
A celebration of life will be held Wednesday, December 21, 2022, visitation at 9:30 a.m., service at 10:30a.m., at Borthwick Mortuary Honolulu-Maunakea Chapel. Inurnment will be held on Thursday, December 22, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific (Punchbowl).
