Robert "Bobby" Lawrence died peacefully at his home in Makaha on November 5, 2022 at the age of 82. He was born in Haina, Hawaii Island. He was a retired carpet cleaner with the SOH- DOT Airports Division and was previously an EA at Kawananakoa Middle School. He is preceded in death by his parents; Joseph and Mary (Cordeiro) Lawrence, siblings; Ida (Louie) Larimer, Manuel "Sonny" Sr. (Shirley) Lawrence, Alfred (Phyllis) Lawrence, William (Melva) Lawrence, Loretta (Francis) Vasconcellos, and Katherine Lawrence.
He is survived by his wife, Lorene (Kaniho) Lawrence; children, Mikesell (Sassy) Wade and Liz (Warren) Baptist; step-children, Jorene (Bush) Pikini, Germaine Bush and Darryl Bush; brother, Joseph Lawrence and sister, Hilda Mendonca; 13 Grand- children, 30 Great-Grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Celebration of Life at Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery on Saturday, December 17, 2022; public viewing and visitation at 10:30am, service from 10:30am-11:30am with lunch and burial to follow.
