Age 89 of Pearl City, Hawaii, passed away 16 September 2022, in Waipahu. She was born in Honolulu, Territory of Hawaii, 19 March 1933.Gladys was a dedicated and loving, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Aunt, and Kupuna. She was the Benefits Administrator for Amfac/JMB Hawaii, and also a Master artisan feather lei maker of Lei Humupapa-hatbands.
Gladys will be lovingly remembered by all who knew her. Preceded in death by spouse John P Brede; parents Sadato Omoto and Pearl (Lewis) Omoto; siblings: Kenneth Omoto, Donald Omoto, Irene Apele, Myriam Caires. Survived by sons: Colin K Brede (Jodie), Scott S Brede (Charlene), Nolin L Brede (Delberta); 8 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; siblings: Barbara Kekua, Harriet Haalilio, Darlene Raposo, and very special Lei Humupapa- Ohana.
