Jerol Noel Hanson passed away on September 2, 2022 at the age of 81 in Aiea, Hawaii.He was born in Lincoln, Nebraska September 21, 1941 and at six moved with his family to Honolulu, Hawaii. He graduated from Punahou, Stanford, and Columbia. He was a commercial and residential real estate agent and broker of his own company, Hanson Realty. He enjoyed sailing with friends on his sailboats and flying inter island. He was a skydiver in the Army and later with a local club. He enjoyed attending Kawaihao Church where he led a weekly AA meeting.
Jerol loved fishing, hiking, and canoeing with family in Alaska and spending time with friends in Hawaii.
He will always be remembered for his zest for life and friendly smile.
He is survived by his sister and nephews and their families in Alaska.
There will be a private family gathering in Hawaii.
