FAMILY PLACED OBITUARY

EARL N. HISATOMI

88, passed away on February 5, 2022. Born in Los Angeles, CA, Earl moved to Honolulu with his family at a young age. His mother, Beatrice, was a significant influence in his life. Earl graduated from Roosevelt High School and earned his bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Hawaii. After college, he served honorably in the Army, achieving the rank of 1st Lieutenant.

Earl had a lifelong insurance career spanning nearly 60 years. Certified by the Society of Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriters, he served at local, regional, and national levels for CPCU.

Earl and his late wife Pauline were long-time members of Kalihi Union Church.

Thank you to all of the caregivers who assisted Earl in his last years. Earl and Pauline will be missed by their daughter, Ruth (husband Tim) Mathison; grandsons, Daniel and John; his brother, Bob; and many cousins, nephews, and nieces.

Private services were held.
