84, of Kaneohe, a retired secretary for the Department of Education, passed away on October 24, 2022. She was born in Wailuku, Maui. She is survived by her husband, Franchot Kurosu; daughters, Lori Ann (Kevin) Pang, Jodi Shitanishi and Jeri (Dirl) Rex; and six grandchildren, Brett Rex, Tyler Pang, Lauren Shitanishi, Reyn Shitanishi, Justin Pang and Cody Rex.
