86, of Honolulu, passed away peacefully on December 6, 2022. She was born on March 10, 1936 in Hilo to the late Ah Tim and Helen Amai. Joycelyn retired as an Account Clerk from the Department of Education, Reprographics Section. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Edmund. She is survived by her children: Edlyn (Ray) Suzuki, Helene (Miles) Togikawa, Timon Leong, Elise (Sean) O'Lena, Joya (Kevin) Ayano and 9 grandchildren. Sisters: Gwendolyn (James) Murai, Carolyn (Richard) Nishimura and Annelle Matsuura. A Celebration of Life will be held on February 18, 2023. Visitation at 9:30 am and service at 10:30 am at Diamond Head Chapel. Inurnment to follow. Memorials in honor of Joycelyn may be made to the charity of your choice. Arrangements Provided By:
