Herbert was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army for over 20 years serving in Korea and Viet Nam. He later worked for the U.S. Postal Service.
He is survived by wife, Alice; daughter, Lorri Kobata (Les); sons, Steve and Eric Nakaguma; six grandchildren and four great- grandchildren.
Private services were held.
