Nalaniokilauea "Lovey" K. Akina, born Lovey Davida Mahealani Mahelona, 68, of Kane'ohe, Hawai'i, passed away at 6:55pm on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 in Kailua, O'ahu. She was preceded in death by her husband Benton G. F. Akina, who passed away on November 18, 2022 in Kane'ohe, Hawai'i.Funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 19, 2023 at Borthwick Mortuary, Maunakea Chapel @ 1330 Maunakea St., Honolulu, HI 96817.
