She was predeceased in death by her husband, Howard T. Awakuni, son, Scott M. Awakuni, son-in-laws, Mark J. Swetland and Michael C. Lee. Grace is survived by her son, Lyle T. (Tammy) Awakuni, daughters April A. (Stanley) Kobayashi, Cindie T. Awakuni-Lee, Donna K. Awakuni-Swetland, grandchildren Maile M. (Kurt Jalbert) Kobayashi, Miya L. Kobayashi, Micah W. Swetland, Keali`i T. Swetland.
Grace's Celebration of Life Services will be held on Friday, March 3, 2023 at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Visitation at 9:00 a.m. Service at 10:00 a.m. Aloha attire. No flowers. Masks required.
