Kazuko was a cook at August Ahrens Elementary School and retired after 26 years of service. After retiring, she remained very active. She was a member of the Senior Citizens Club and would exercise every week at the local YMCA. Her interests included Tai Chi, Ukelele, Ikebana Flower Arranging, Zumba, and Yoga. She loved to travel and visited numerous places including the East Coast, West Coast, Alaska, Asia, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand.
She is survived by her husband Hiroshi; son Daron; daughters Debra and Dora; two grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
