She attended Maryknoll K-12, began her performing career as a teenager on the television show "Campus Canteen", followed by many other TV, movie and special appearances as a professional hula dancer all around the world.
When at home, her favorite place to be was outside in her gardens. Beautiful, talented, caring and generous is how she'll be remembered by all who knew and loved her.
Preceded in death by her father Manuel DeSilva, mother Katherine Len DeSilva, and sister Arleen Kulukulualani, she is survived by her children: Katherine Davis (Rhonda) and James Hunter (Elaine); grandchildren: Kaden Ikaika, Natalie Napua and Monica Malia; sister Elaine Masutani and nieces and nephews.
