A long time Manoa resident and Korean War Veteran, Thomas "Tom" Otaguro was born in Kalihi, Hawaii in 1929. He passed away on December 27, 2022 peacefully at home in his sleep. He was 93 years old. Tom retired as Vice President at Austin Tsutsumi and Associates, a local engineering firm. Served the Boy Scouts of America as Troop 35's Scoutmaster, Waioli Lions Club as President, Manoa Community Garden as President, and Haebaru Club of Hawaii as President. He assisted Meals on Wheels and Manoa Elementary School. He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Karen and oldest son Clyde and survived by his three sons Curtis, Glenn and Thomas Jr. with his wife Lynn and grand-daughter Caitlyn. Services will be held at Hosoi on Tues., Feb. 21, 2023 at 2:00pm. Visitation will start at 1:00 pm. Casual attire, no flowers please. Masks required. Arrangements Provided By:
