76, of Honolulu, Hawaii, passed away on January 8, 2023.Lolito, fondly known as Lito, was born on November 14, 1946 to the late Ricardo and late Crisanta (Fabic) Manes in Alcantara, Romblon, Philippines.
He was a former boxer and retired construction worker; a member of the Hawaii Laborers Union Local #368. After coming to Hawaii to pursue a career in boxing, he later met and married Victorina (Vicky) Florendo on October 19, 1974. Lito and Vicky went on to have two children, Shirley and Lovell.
He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Vicky; his children Shirley Manes Tolliver of Kempner, TX and Lovell (Joyce) Manes of Ewa Beach, HI; grandchildren, Qadir Rashaan Tolliver, Benjamin Oz Manes, Ezra Julien Tolliver, and Heart Demi Manes; sisters Edenia Manes Martinez and Merlinda Manes.
Lito was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Qadrey Julien Tolliver; siblings, Napoleon Manes, Nieves Manes, Rudy Manes, Feliciana Manes Fesarillo, Linda Manes Hernandez, Leovigeldo Manes, Lydia Manes Anonuevo, Andres Manes, and Longino Manes.
A chapel service for Lito will be held Wednesday, March 8, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM at Hawaiian Memorial Park Funeral Services, 45-425 Kamehameha Highway, Kaneohe, Hawaii 96744.
Following the chapel service will be a burial from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery, 45-425 Kamehameha Highway, Kaneohe, Hawaii 96744.
