Born in Honolulu on November 17, 1939, Girard Kim passed away on February 11, 2023 surrounded by loved ones at Salem Health Hospital in Salem, Oregon after a stroke and a short battle with cancer.He is survived by his wife, Marie; children, Vance, Chris and Lisa; grandchildren, Tanu, Josh, Micah, Moani-Keala, Kealani, Jayden, Kalei Andrade and Blane Andrade; sister, Caroldine Medeiros; brother, Blaine Dias. He was preceded in death by his wife Arthurene Leina'ala and daughter Darcie Ann.
Viewing will be held from 10 to 10:45 am on Tuesday, March 14 at Nu'uanu Memorial Park & Mortuary. Memorial Service will begin at 11 am. Committal service to follow at 1 pm at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific.
