James "Jim" Glenn Frye, 76, of Ocean View, died on Thursday, March 2, 2023 at Hilo Medical Center. He was born on July 2, 1946 in Camden, Maine. He was a retired hairdresser, an artist, and a U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran. He was a member of St. Jude's Episcopal Church in Ocean View. No services. Survived by, partner, John "Keoni" Joaquin and Lanigirl; sister, Susan Montoya; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
