68, passed away Sunday, December 25, 2022 at Henderson Hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was born on October 18, 1954. Eldon was a 1972 graduate of Kamehameha High School. He worked at the Honolulu Police Department as a Solo Bike, Patrol, and Observior in the helicopter division where he retired in 2005 after 26 years of service. Eldon was known best to his family as Papa or Big El!!!
He loved golf, sports, and was the best cooker and food lover, but most of all spending time with his family and granddaughters.
Eldon is survived by his wife Eloise Chow, sons Erich Rabago and Alika Chow and daughter Chelsey Chow, also his four grand- daughters Stella and Sydney Rabago, Makena Bleske and Kaila Chow. His siblings Lorrie McCready (John), Laura Mae Leslie (Wayne), Michael Chow (Abralene), Lee Chow, Jamie Kaapuiki (George), and Elizabeth "Kappy" Iseke. He is preceded in death by his father 2nd Lt. Calvin Chow and mother Margaret Chow.
Visitations will be held at Kamehameha High School Kapalama Campus on Saturday, March 18, 2023 at 2:30PM with service to follow at 3:30 PM. The family will be holding a Hawaiian dinner at the SHOPO HALL and ask for everyone to join because that was Eldons favorite food but most of all celebrating with friends and family was what he loved the most.
