74, passed away peacefully on January 3, 2023, at the Islands Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation in Honolulu. She was predeceased by her parents Shoichi and Tokie Okuna Fujimoto and sibling Sheryl. Ella was a respectful and compassionate teacher, having taught at Waianae Elementary and retired from Kauluwela Elementary School as a first grade teacher. She is survived by her sister Shirley Iwase, brother Byron (Barbara) Fujimoto, nephew Bryce, nieces Sheree, Blaire and grand niece Sachiko. Private services held.
