She was born during the Spring of the year of the Rooster, in Oita, Japan. She was the eldest of 6 children. In 1956, she married her husband Charles on a Hilltop over looking Yokohama Bay, and enjoyed a long and loving marriage for 64years. Besides being an accomplished seamstress she was also a retired Employee of Duty Free Hawaii where she shared her aloha with guests from around the world Calling Hawaii home for over 60 years, she also frequented and enjoyed the glitz and glamour of her second home, Las Vegas, and made her mark traveling around the world sharing her infectious smile and vigor. Her love for life, animals and humanity has been passed down to her only child and daughter, Erika Aresta. She spent her last moments on earth surrounded by family,love and peace in the comfort of her home. She is also survived by her sister Miyako, and brothers Isamu and Manabu. She will be immensely missed.
Celebration of her life will be held at Hosoi Garden Mortuary, March 24, 2023. Visitation 5 p.m. Service 6 p.m. Masks are required.
