She attended Kohala Female Seminary and Hilo High School.
She was Elvis Presley's No. 1 Fan in Hawaii. She fell in love with Elvis at 17 years old. While living on the Big Island, she began listening to the late Tom Moffatt's radio show, "Uncle Tom's Cabin." She later moved to Oahu and found Moffatt, who helped introduce her to Presley. She was active in the Elvis Presley Fan Club.
She worked at Everybody's Super Market, Island Fashions, and at Royal Elementary and Kuhio Elementary Schools.
She is survived by her husband, Donald of Honolulu; daughter Raenelle U'ilani of Honolulu; sisters Linda Penaroza of Texas, Maile Laau of Honolulu, and Leona (Ron) Smith of Virginia; sisters-in law Elaine Seacord of Waimea and Lois Penaroza of Honolulu; numerous nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.
She is pre-deceased by brothers, Nickey, Bob, Earl; sister, Adele, and nephew, Ronald.
Viewing will be public. Visitation will be at Hawaiian Memorial Park on Tuesday, March 28, 2023, from 10:00 am - 11:00 am, services will be from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm, lunch will follow from 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm, followed by a public burial at 2:00 pm.
