86, of Pearl City passed away on January 14, 2023. Born in Lanai City. He was raised on the Big Island town of Pahoa. He devoted his career as an insurance agent for Occidental Underwriters of Hawaii for 59 years.
He generously volunteered his time to numerous community organizations such as the Pearl City Makule Club, Pearl City Community Association, Fukuoka Kenjin Kai and Honolulu Christian Church.
Survived by wife, Catherine; daughter Leslee Matsushige (Chris); sons, Paul (Miki), David (Sharon), and two grandchildren, Kristi and Kai.
Memorial services will be held on April 1, 2023, Saturday, at Nuuanu Memorial Park & Mortuary. Visitation begins at 4:00 p.m., service to start at 5:00 p.m.
