FAMILY PLACED OBITUARY

Arthur Keanahou Mahoe
Arthur Keanahou MahoeBunny (Tutuman) passed away peacefully on February 2, 2023 at home in Hawaii Kai with family by his side. Bunny (Tutuman) was born March 30, 1934, to Abigail and Arthur Mahoe, the second oldest of five siblings. Bunny grew up in Kalihi and was a proud graduate of Farrington High School class of 1952. Upon graduation, he married his childhood sweetheart, Clara Shiraishi and raised 5 children. Bunny worked for Hawaiian Telephone Company where he put in 32 years of service. After retiring there, he chose to work for the City & County Traffic and Parking Division for 10 more years before retiring for good.

Now with all this free time, he focused on the one thing he loved the most: watching his grandkids, great-grandkids, nieces, and nephews play sports. You could catch Bunny (Tutuman) behind the backstop or in the stands sporting the kids team colors, and cheering loud and proud. Tutuman will be greatly missed at the kids games, but we have a good feeling he'll be watching from the best seat in the house.

Predeceased by his siblings: Bino, Curtis, Martha (Baby Sweet), and Kevin; and son, Bojo; Bunny Tutuman leaves behind his wife, Clara; his children: Cara (Russel), Beje (Lei), Trede (Nathan), and Baba (Rochelle); 15 grandkids; 15 great-grandkids, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many lifelong friends.

Celebration of life will be held on March 30, 2023, at Diamond Head Mortuary. Visitation at 10:00am, services at 11:00am. Please join the family following the service to talk story and have lunch and refreshments on the lanai.
