75, of Kaneohe, HI passed away on February 5, 2023 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He would finally return to his true love Gail Whyte Kuloloia who had preceded him in death. He will be remembered as a Vietnam Veteran serving in the U.S. Navy, a football coach for Kalaheo and Kailua High School, and as a retired lineman from Verizon after 32 years of service. Coach Dougie is survived by his sisters; Eloise (Jerry) Umiamaka and Leona Tagupa; Children Michele (Gordon) Nahale and Keoni (Nelida) Kuloloia. As well as his four grandchildren; Logan, Dawson, Lauren, and Alexis. Services for Douglas will be held on Saturday, March 25 at Hawaiian Memorial Park at 4:00pm. Burial to follow on Tuesday, March 28 at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery at 10:00am.
