At her Pacific Palisades home in Pearl City, HI with support from her husband, sons, daughter, and hospice care, Mrs. Shoko K. Roberts died on Wednesday, December 14, 2022, at 89. Devoted wife and mother of 63 years, survived by her husband Norman F. Roberts, sons Norman F. Roberts, Jr., Kenneth Roberts, daughter Kathryn Yamate and granddaughters, Carly Roberts, Samantha Roberts, Julianne Yamate, Paige Yamate and Kristen Yamate.
Shoko was born in Kochi, Japan, May 15, 1933, married September 18, 1959 in Tokyo, Japan, received U.S. citizenship, March 10, 1971, in Honolulu, HI. Service was held at Waipahu Hongwanji Buddhist Temple with interment at Punchbowl Columbaria Court 13, March 14, 2023, 11:30 AM.
