73, of Honolulu, passed away peacefully on February 8, 2023. Born in Hiroshima, Japan, she moved to Hawaii as a young girl. She went on to graduate from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, and worked at the East West Center until retirement.Jane was a beautiful and loving wife, mother and friend. Her love of travel, musicals, line dancing and community affairs shined throughout her life. She also took special care of her beloved cat Blackie. Jane was known for overwhelming generosity, kindness, and for being the social butterfly of the neighborhood. She was a fighter who would overcome any challenge that came her way.
Jane is survived by son, Justin, stepchildren Ryan, Shanna, Kevin and Kris. Services will be held at 10am on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Masks required.
