90, passed away in Honolulu on March 8, 2023. She was born in Hilo on Dec 8, 1932. A well known local model, she went on to represent the Territory of Hawaii in 1959 at the Miss World in London. In the mid-1960s she appeared in dozens of movie, stage, and print productions under the screen name Moa Tahi during six years in Italy. Returning to Honolulu, she travelled the mainland singing and dancing hula with the Hawaiian Airlines promotional group. She later ran local fashion shows in town. She loved golf, tennis, cooking, sewing and painting. Loved and missed by family and friends, she will be interred at the Brumaghim family plot at Oahu Cemetery. Donations in her memory can be made to the Cancer Research organization of your choice.
