Philip Mendiola, III, 72, of Waianae, died March 15, 2023. He was born in Honolulu. Survived by wife, Jody L.; son, Kaonohi W. Borden (Philip Mendiola IV); daughters, Stephanie K. Borden, Mililani Paclib, (Mother of Philip IV and Stephanie), S. Keaulani Asuncion, Keanuenue, Mahealani, and Lanihau; 12 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren; brother Russell (Debbie) Borden.
