Frank "Franko" Lattore Cabacungan Jr., 73, of Honolulu, passed away peacefully at home on March 17, 2023. He was the second oldest son of Anasita & Frank Lattore Cabacungan. He graduated from McKinley High School ('67) & The University of Hawaii ('76). Franko will be remembered as a Vietnam Veteran serving in the US Army (101st Airborne), a former KGMB cameraman/Chyron technician, and retired NOAA Fisheries computer programmer. He enjoyed performing & working in community theater, and playing the guitar & harmonica in his church music ministry group. He enjoyed the company of family, good friends, and work colleagues. Franko is survived by his wife, Kathryn, his son, Frank, sisters Marla A. Illuzzi & Freda C. Yore (George), cousin, Marlon R. Sarmiento, and nephews, Anthony & Christopher Illuzzi. Memorial Service to be held at Diamond Head Mortuary, on Thursday, April 13, 2023, at 9:00am. Private inurnment at The National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific to follow. Arrangements Provided By:
