Born in Honolulu on February 18, 1928. Raised in Hale'iwa and Kaka'ako. Retired from Dole Cannery as a trimmer. Survived by sisters Pamela DeFreitas and Gaelic Steele. Children, Cissy Driver, Claudia "Lala" Gibson (deceased), Connie Solomon, Butch Ka'uhane, Kalei Nu'uhiwa and Jaye Aquino. Grandchildren 18, great-grandchildren 54 and great-great-grandchildren 27. Services will be held at the Central Seventh Day Adventist Church, 2313 Nu'uanu Ave. on Sunday, April 23 at 3 p.m.
