Ma'ili, O'ahu – Bernice M. Cordeiro, 100, passed away at her home Saturday, January 21, 2023 surrounded by her family. She was born April 19, 1922 in Waipahu to John Louis Medeiros and Jane Carreira Medeiros. She married Vincent Gilbert Cordeiro, Sr. on August 24, 1940. He passed away October 28, 1995.Bernice is survived by her four children: Agnes Veronica Cordeiro, Vincent "Braddah" Cordeiro, Jr. (Angie), Claudette Lee (Eddie) and Herman Cordeiro (Sha). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 15 great-great-grandchildren.
Celebration of Life will be held Thursday April 20, 2023 at Wai'anae Sacred Heart Church. Visitation 5:30pm, mass 6:30pm. Funeral service will be held on Friday April 21, 2023 at Mililani Memorial Park – Makai Chapel (Ka Uka Blvd. Waipahu). Visitation 9:00am, burial 11:00am.
