He was born in Yonkers, New York and died in Pearl City, Hawaii. John was a retired Air Force fighter pilot who proudly flew the F-105 Thunderchief and served for 27 years. He retired in Oahu in 1981 after serving as the Deputy Inspector General at Hickam Air Force Base.
John loved golf, reading, crossword puzzles and spending time with his friends. He leaves behind his sister Rita King, step daughter Tracey Hardwick, son Kevin Kudo-King, daughter-in-law Motomi Kudo-King and two grand kids Maika and Liam; who will remember John as "Papa". We will miss his sense of humor, unwavering support and constant presence in our lives.
At his request there will be no service and his ashes will be interred in the forest on his family's property in Seattle Washington. He loved to visit this place and we hope that he will rest in peace amongst the Cedar and Fir trees.
