Pastor Robert K. Tokunaga, passed away peacefully on February 25, 2023, in Ewa Beach, Hawaii. He is now with his heavenly Father, rejoicing and dancing with the Lord. Robert devoted his life to serving the Lord and was part of the pastoral staff at First Assembly of God. He was selfless and a great example of a man that followed God–and there is no doubt his legacy followed him to Heaven. He was born on March 30, 1956, in Honolulu, Hawaii, to Kenneth and Carolyn Tokunaga, and second of six children. Survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Elizabeth Tokunaga; children, Chad (Cassi) Tokunaga, Jamie (Dexter) Tokunaga-Magno, Chase (Crystin) Tokunaga; siblings, Karen (Alan) Hong, Guy Tokunaga, Sandra Tokunaga, Joy (Rick) Burns, Tim (Corinne) Tokunaga; seven grandchildren and 13 nieces and nephews. Robert was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and dear friend to everyone who knew him. His kindness, sense of humor and fun will always be remembered, and he will forever be loved. A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, April 25, 2023, at First Assembly of God, Red Hill.
