MARGARET LEINAALA (Kaeka) RIVERA
MARGARET LEINAALA (Kaeka) RIVERA Born on March 20, 1938, Margaret was raised in Pue'a - Wai'anae Valley. She attended Waialua & Wai'anae elementary & Intermediate and Farrington high school. She worked at the Dole Cannery, Conroy Bowl, & Kilani Tavern where she met her husband, "Blue light Special". She also worked as a bus aid for the handicapped for over 20 years.
Margaret was involved with the Tuesday morning bowling league at Schofield for about 20 years. She loved doing arts & crafts, especially lei making. She loved hula, ukulele, bowling, and most of all her 'Ohana.
She was the most generous, kindhearted, hardworking, and strongest woman we know. She beat breast cancer in 2003. In 2020, given only 6 months to live, she beat the odds and survived for another 2 years.

She lived life on her own terms.

Predeceased by her daughter Marilyn Corey, she is survived by husband Rickey Sr.; sons: James, Rick Jr. & Ronald; daughters: Rosaline "Nina" (Robert) Chun, Deneen, Vanessa (William) Lau, Charlotte (Ernest) Rivera; 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

She is terribly missed by all of her 'Ohana.
At her request a private Celebration of Life will be held.
