92, of Honolulu, HI, passed away peacefully on March 1, 2023. She was born on January 13, 1931 in Kapoho, HI to Saichi and Umeyo Tanioka, the youngest of seven children. She graduated from Pahoa High School, married Shozo Nakamura and moved to Honolulu. She worked at Airport Automotive Parts and ADP Parts alongside Shozo for many years. Together they raised their family, travelled the world and enjoyed gatherings with family and friends. She was intelligent, generous, caring, a great cook and baker. She lived a long and happy life. Predeceased by her parents, brothers Kazuki, Masayoshi and Isami Tanioka and sisters Chizue Ishibashi, Toshie Shimizu and Satsuyo Tanioka. Survived by her loving husband of 70 years, Shozo Nakamura, daughters Sharon (Roy) Ogawa and Ann (Russell) Kinningham, son Aaron Nakamura; grandchildren Michelle (Mitchell) Ochi, Kevin Oshiro, Alyssa (Billy) Felton, Shannon Nakamura, Ryan Kai Kinningham, and Kyra Nakamura; great- grandchildren Melanie, Matthew and Madison Ochi.
