Harold Robert De Mello, Jr.

Age 69 passed away at home on March 15, 2023. "Jr" was born in Honolulu, and graduated from Kalani High School in 1971. Employed by DOD for 40 years he retired in 2012. Known to many as "Coach Jr", he loved baseball, coached for 20 yrs, and was an avid UH Sports Supporter for 40 yrs.
Survived by his wife Carolyn DeMello; son Rob (Tina) DeMello; daughters Jaunette & Diamond DeMello; grandchildren: Emi & Cole DeMello Yamane and Niko DeMello; sister Darlene De Mello.
Services will be held Saturday, May 20, 2023, at Mary, Star of the Sea Church, 4470 Aliikoa St., Honolulu. Visitation: 9:30 a.m. - 10:45 a.m.; Mass: 11:00 a.m.; Social to follow in the cafeteria.
