Violet Sumako Tanaka

Violet passed away on April 11, 2023 at 94 years of age. She was born and raised in Honolulu and moved to Okinawa for several years before returning to the islands. She is survived by sons Alan and Michael (Lynn); sisters Gladys Hashisaka and Ethel Nishikawa, and two grandchildren Ross and Rachel. Violet was a kind, thoughtful, and generous person. She was loved by all and will be greatly missed.
