Takeo Ono, 87, of Kailua, a retired mason and an Army veteran, died in Honolulu. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by son Evan; daughters Rita Duarte-Avilla, Helen Oshiro and Grace Takemoto; brothers Stanley, Warren and Stephen; sister Jean Zenigami; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Private services.
