Jane Chitose HiranoAge 98, of Honolulu passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side, on December 16, 2017, after a recent illness. We will be eternally grateful for the loving blessings of her life on all who met her and for the beautiful lessons of life that she shared with everyone. She was blessed with the Japanese name "Chitose" which means "long life" and "a thousand years," a name she most definitely embodied. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Phillip T. Though she loved baking, cooking, sewing, needlework, hula dancing, ukulele playing, lei making and traveling to many places in the world, she'll always be remembered for "Aunty Jane's Rolls."
