89, of Waipahu, passed away at home surrounded by her family on November 25, 2017. She was born and raised in Nara, Japan and had also lived in Okinawa, Japan. She was a former employee of Shiro's Saimin Haven. Predeceased by her son, Kenneth, she is survived by her husband, Kiyoshi "Apa"; son, Jon; daughter, Maria; sister, Kayoko; brother, Hiromoto; numerous nieces and nephews in Hawaii and Japan. Visitation 9am Saturday, January 06, 2018, at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Service at 10am. Casual attire, no flowers. Inurnment 9:30, Monday, January 08, 2018, National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific.
