August 12, 1938 - October 25, 2017 DR. JAMES KAZUO OHARA passed away on October 25, 2017 in Wahiawa at the age of 79. He was the eldest son of Dr. George K. and Shigeko Ohara. He is survived by his loving wife, Julia A. Ohara; daughter, Laura A. (Enrico) Wongkar; grand- children Lani and May; brother, Dr. Patrick (Jean) Ohara; sisters Meryle Hirotsu, June Ohara, and Dr.Thalia (Ray) Ohara-Perez. He is predeceased by his younger brother, Franklin (Naomi) Ohara. James attended Iolani, UH, and the Indiana University Dental School and had a private dental practice for over 40 years in Wahiawa. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at the Mililani Memorial Park, Mauka Chapel (visitation at 9:00 a.m.) and burial at 11:30 a.m. Casual attire.
