Corwith “Corie” Joseph Roache
98, of Honolulu, died December 23rd at Kahala Nui. Born in San Francisco, California in 1919, he moved to Hawaii with his parents in 1929. Corie was a retired officer of the Hawaiian Trust Company. He served in the Navy during World War II and the Korean War. Roache was an avid golfer since 1941 and had a lifetime total of 5 holes-in-one. Survived by granddaughters Corrine J. Roache of Los Angeles and Shellye A. Roache of Chicago. Private service and Inurnment will be held at a later date at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific. Donations in his memory may be made to the Hawaiian Humane Society, 2700 Waialae Ave, Honolulu, HI 96826-1899 or to a charity of your choice.
