Dennis Ernesto Asuncion, 62, of Keaau, Hawaii, an Isemoto and Sonomura Contracting Co. journeyman carpenter and an Army and Hawaii Army National Guard veteran, died at home. He also was a boxer and head boxing official for Hawaii Isle Police Activities League and Hawaii Junior Amateur Boxing Committee. He was born in Amaulu Camp 1, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Herberta; son Daylan; daughters Dayna Sivankeo and Daylene Midel; mother Terry Partridge; brothers Paul-Ramon Villanueva, and Gerald, George, Rodney and Bernard Asuncion; sisters Frances Arakaki, Lorraine Celoza, Priscilla Mandaloniz and Angel Satomba; and nine grandchildren. Visitation: 4 p.m. Friday at Dodo Mortuary. Celebration of life: 6 p.m. Casual attire. No flowers.
