Stanley Otoichi Shinkawa, 94, beloved husband, father, grand- father, great-grandfather, brother and uncle passed away peacefully at home on August 3, 2018. As a sculptor & jeweler, Stan showcased his talent by creatively expressing passion in his work, valued and appreciated by many. As a husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle & friend, every moment of his life, he shared the same love & passion with all fortunate to know him. He is survived by his Wife of 65 years, Helen; Sons: Paul (Donna) and John (Karin); Grandchildren: Ryan (Jenn), Kristin (Rik), Ryan, Zane, Max; Great-grandsons: Ryder, Ryken, Richie; Sister: Jane Kimie Tanaka; Sisters-in-law & Brother-in-law: Millie Abe, Pat Abe, Ethel Uehara & Henry Abe; Many loved nieces, nephews & friends. A memorial celebration of his life will be held at Diamond Head Mortuary on Saturday, September 8, 2018. Visitation at 10:00, service at 11:00 & burial at 2:00.
