Gary Masahiko Yamaguchi
94, of Wahiawa, passed away on July 6, 2018. Born and raised in Wahiawa on March 24, 1924. Bravely served his country during WWII by volunteering in the U.S. Army's 442nd Regiment and was transferred to Military Intelligence. He worked as a civil engineer for the federal government and member of the Wahiawa Lion's Club. He is survived by wife, Hisae; daughters: Cheryl Kim, Valerie (Karl) Hozaki, Alma (Myles) Macadangdang; grandchildren: Lisa Kim, Jennifer (Benjamin) Nitta, Laurie Hozaki, Amanda Macadangdang, Sherie Hozaki, David Macadangdang; great grandchildren: Janice, Lucas, Kailee, Hayley; sisters: Chizuko Furukawa and Elaine Moriyama. Visitation: 5:30 p.m.; Service: 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at Mililani Mortuary, Mauka Chapel.
