Thomas retired from the Honolulu Police Department where he spent 14.5 years of his career as a Solo Bike Officer. He was preceded in death by first wife Elizabeth Jarrett Clarke and son Patrick J. Clarke. Survived by wife Charlotte Houghtailing Clarke; sons Michael (Nadine) Clarke, Stewart (Robyn) Clarke; daughter Kathleen Clarke (James) Moniz; Step children: Edward Wong, Samantha (Tyler) Ng, Sonja (Daniel) Riley Kalani Wong, George Wong; hanai daughter Celeste Kamihara; 24 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren.
