William Stephen Ramos, “Bill”
WILLIAM STEPHEN RAMOS, BILL Age 85, of Kaneohe, Hawaii passed away peacefully with family by his side on July 29, 2018. He was born in Lahaina, Maui. The Ramos Family moved to Honolulu from Lahaina in 1941. Bill attended Royal Elementary, Central Intermediate, McKinley High School (where he excelled in sports - Track, Basketball and Football). He then moved back to Lahaina to stay with his Grandpa and graduated from Lahainaluna. After graduation, he joined the Marine Corps and travelled to California and the East coast and did a tour in Korea. After being Honorably Discharged, he started work at Hawaiian Airlines where he retired as a Lead Aircraft Mechanic after 38 years of service. Bill also had many Hobbies - Fishing, Hot Rods, Gardening, Wood Working, and most of all Bowling. Bill is survived by his Wife (of 60 years) Pauline; Daughters - Willynne (Bob) Patterson, Sharolyn (Abert) Kia, Raynette Ramos and Rhoda (Bob) Armstrong; Sons - Russell (Linda) Ramos and Roderic (April) Ramos; 15 Grandchildren; 14 Great-Grand- children; and Brother - James (Frances) Ramos. Predeceased by Sisters - Violet (David) Monalim and Joann (Maximo) Hagmoc, Jr.; Brothers - Abraham (Carol) Ramos and Moses Calvin Ramos; and Granddaughter - Tehani. The family will be having a Celebration of Life at Ke'ehi Lagoon Memorial Park - Weinberg Hall on Saturday, October 20th. Visitation at 9am, Celebration of Life at 10am with military honors.
