Agnes Hazel Char, 87, of Honolulu, Hawaii, died peacefully at home with her family on December 20, 2018. Agnes graduated from nursing school at Atlantic City Hospital in 1951, and married Dr. Donald Char in Frankfurt, Germany, where Donald was an officer in the Army Medical Corps. She is survived by Donald, and her children Brenda, Linda, John and Matthew, and grandchildren Tiare Krewson, and Robbie, Kahekili and Taylor Char and her sister, Margaret Steigerwalt, of Franklinville, NJ. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Donna. Services at noon on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Kilohana United Methodist Church. Private burial at Punchbowl National Cemetery on January 17, 2019.
