Howard Manthei, 75, of Kaneohe died on February 3, 2019. He was born in Koolaupoko, Hawaii. Survived by wife Charlotte. He attended Waiahole and Castle High School. He worked for Delta Construction and Ben Hayashi. He is pre-deceased by son Kimo; sister Fay Stapleton; brothers, Alfred "German", Robert "Lani" Manthei, Elmer "Dennis" Awa, Robert "Bobby" Hookano and Timothy Gonzalez. He is survived by brothers, Don Manthei, July (Kathleen) Hookano, Michael Kim and Ronald (Dora) Gonzalez; sisters, Ella Townsend, Gloria Young, Leslie (Kurt) Cazinha, Lucia, Oveta and Vaudine Gonzalez, Patrona (Eddie) Harrell.
