97, of Honolulu, Hawaii, died on January 21, 2019 in Honolulu. She was born in Portland, Oregon, on June 3, 1921, graduated from Emanuel Hospital School of Nursing (Portland) in 1944 with a BS in Nursing Education, served as a Registered Nurse in the U.S. Navy with an honorable discharge in 1946, and subsequently relocated to Honolulu and was employed at Queens Hospital as a pediatrics charge nurse until her marriage in 1950. She was predeceased by her husband George R Hansen in 2009 after 59 years of marriage.
